I AM
Evangelistic Ministry

I AM Evangelistic Ministry was conceived in 1998 from the “spiritual womb” of
Patsy Cross-Cole.  While employed at a Fortune 500 company in Corporate America,
Patsy was experiencing what most would consider a “prosperous” lifestyle”.
Her health began to fail which later resulted in the undergoing of several test and
exams requested by her physician. After much perseverance, Patsy was finally
diagnosed with what Medical Science regards as an incurable disease.  She suffered
with Fibromyalgia for two long years.  "I'll never forget how my husband, which
was my fiance` at the time, took care of me as if he were taking care of himself."
During her illness, Patsy recalls having to give up her home, her career, and even the
responsibility of mothering her own children. Seemly, she had lost so much that was
dear to her.  “Except for the power of God...I almost lost my mind!”

Is there a balm in Gilead?  Patsy confidently replies, “Yes there is!”  After crying out
to God day and night, the Holy Spirit constantly directed Patsy to read this scripture-
Rev. 22:2 “…
And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nation.” Upon
receiving revelation of that word, she applied it to her life by the daily intake of herbal
products.  “God has many pathways of administering healing…But they all require
some form of obedience on our behalf.” After what felt like “eternity”, Patsy was
miraculous healed by the Almighty Power of God’s Word!

During her “valley of the shadow of death” experience, Patsy received divine insight
that her abilities to speak, write, and act were not just talents, but were to be used as
ministry gifts.  Patsy then began to earnestly seek God for the name of the ministry
that He would use as a “vehicle" whereby she could operate in these gifts.

It was shortly thereafter, that by the Holy Spirit, she conceived and gave birth to
I AM EVANGELISTIC MINISTRY.

God has given Patsy the
Holy Boldness required in order for her to become
transparent as she speaks.  Patsy teaches audiences with passion for the Word and
its relevance-there is always a balance of scripture and life experiences.  She
provokes a desire…a hunger for more of God's presence in their lives.  She humbly
ministers the Word of God through revelation knowledge while sometimes flowing in
the
gift of prophecy.

Patsy’s endeavor to minister to the needs of others is seen in her poetic writings and
dramatic monologues.  “I love being a writer and dramatist because I’ve seen them
both penetrate into the crevices, bringing spiritual oxygen to people trapped in the
crisis of life.”  The spiritual oxygen that Patsy brings to others, is the healing she’s
found in Jesus Christ after suffering with
that debilitating disease.  Because Patsy is
no stranger to adversity, her writings and messages are in the areas of spiritual/
emotional healing, women’s issues and Biblical counseling as it relates to mental
health.  She has written monologues and directed several plays/skits.  She self-
published her first book in 2001 entitled
Inspirational Poetry to a New Life of Hope-
all of which were written during her battle with fibromyalgia.. Patsy is presently
working on a Prophetic Poetry Cd/Book Project and looks forward to sharing them
with you upon their release in January 2007.

Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by fatigue and widespread pain in
the muscles, ligaments and tendons. The American College of Rheumatology
classifies a patient as having Fibromyalgia if at least 11 of 18 specific areas of the
body (“tender points”) are painful under pressure.  People with this syndrome may
also experience sleep disturbances, irritable bowel and other symptoms.  The term
“myalgia” indicates muscular pain.  This is in contrast to “mytosis”, which is pain
due to inflammation or infection.  The medical community has no cure for
fibromyalgia.  They say that there is no cause of it -- that it is not organic pain, but
psychogenic pain.  It does not involve an imbalance of neurotransmitters, so there is
no drug to successfully treat it.  The pain is the result of a nerve signal being
unconsciously activated, thus producing a flaring of dendrite activity in the white
connective tissues and ligaments and tendons.  According to the Mayo Clinic,
Fibromyalgia affects 3 to 8 million Americans.  Approximately 90 percent of these
affected people are women.
